## Frequently Asked Questions

1. Before connecting my WhatsApp to Utmify, several leads had already contacted me. Will those sales be tracked in Utmify?

> We will only track sales after the WhatsApp connection via QR Code on Utmify, meaning only for new leads who start a conversation on WhatsApp after this connection.

***

2. I fill out the Checkout with the customer's information and/or manually send the checkout link to them. How can I do this process and still track my sales?

> You need to insert the customer's number in the utm\_content parameter exactly as it appears on WhatsApp, for example: 5511913119010 (Country code, area code, and customer number, without spaces or symbols).

***

3. My funnel is 100% automated, the bot itself sends the link to the customer on WhatsApp. How can I verify that everything is set up correctly for tracking?

> For automated support, make sure you have correctly configured your chatbot. This includes ensuring that UTMs are being passed correctly, the LEAD's phone number is being captured properly, and the message flow is working as expected to ensure an effective support experience.

Note: Check with your bot's support team if it has a variable to automatically capture the customer's phone number, such as `{phone}`. Correct functionality depends on the existence of this variable in the bot.

4. My WhatsApp funnel is: Ad → Page → WhatsApp → Checkout. How can I verify that tracking will work?

> You need to configure the UTM code in your ads, the UTM script on the page before WhatsApp, and verify that the button to go to WhatsApp on the page is configured as an anchor TAG `<a>`. Only in this format will it be possible to correctly track sales coming from WhatsApp.

5. I work with appointments. How can I use Utmify to track my sales?

> If you don't send the checkout URL to your customer to make the payment or appointment, but you perform the purchase/appointment process for the lead — such as in Cash on Delivery (Logzz) cases or when the customer sends you a PIX and you make the payment on their behalf — simply perform the process as if you were the customer. This will ensure the sale is correctly registered in Utmify.

**An example if you use Logzz:**

* Generate the appointment link and add the required parameter for sale tracking.

Example: <https://logzz.agendamento.com.br/e17fd9c414?utm_content=5511913119010>

In this example, the utm\_content parameter is set with the LEAD's number (5511913119010), which is the customer's number in the correct format (country code, area code, and number, without spaces or symbols). This parameter ensures that sale tracking is done correctly.

**Performing the process as if you were the customer:**

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Access the appointment link (checkout) that includes the required parameters for tracking the sale.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
In the appointment form, enter the requested information, such as the customer's name, email, phone number, and other relevant details. Make sure the LEAD's number and tracking parameters are correct.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
After filling in all the data, confirm and finalize the appointment, choosing the date and time of the service according to the platform's availability.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Upon completing the appointment, Utmify will track this action as an approved sale, and Logzz will register the appointment. If the customer doesn't pay or doesn't accept the product, the transaction will be marked as failed and the amount will be removed from Utmify as a canceled sale.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note: This process applies to other sales platforms that use the cash-on-delivery payment format.
